books, books, books and people

...the bookfair in frankfurt is over and I am glad ;--) we spend there 5 days with our ILLUMAT and were also presented in the thuringian booth, wich showcased some illustrators from our federal state with a panel and in the a booklet. the stand was huge and comfortable and we are very happy with the presentation. // Endlich zurück von der Buchmesse in Frankfurt! 5 Tage haben wir da verbracht mit unserem Illustrationsautomat und waren außerdem noch am Stand des Landes Thüringen mit einem Panel und in der Standbroschüre vertreten. Prima war es!

some new drawings about things we have in our heads... and I just spend the weekend in Troisdorf near Cologne for he anual Workshop / Conference of Stiftung Illustration. At the same time the opening of ATAK´s exhibition in Bilderbuchmuseum Burg Wissem took place. Yeah! // Nicht verpassen - bis 13. November 2011 läuft ATAK´s Ausstellung "Meanwhile" im Bilderbuchmuseum Burg Wissem!

... after weeks of just working I finally had my firts real weekend. We watched Movies (Zorba the Greek- realy good film classic), went to the final concert of the Yiddish Summer Weimar with Forshpil from Riga und biked and walked through plum and mirabelle trees. Yeah! // ... nachdem ich seit Wochen durchgearbeitet habe und sich in jedes Wochenende immerwieder Arbeit hineingemogelt hatte, war dieses mein erstes richtiges Wochenende! Mit Heimkino (dem Filmklassiker Alexis Sorbas), Musik - beim Abschlußkonzert des Yiddish Summer Weimar mit Forshpil aus Riga, Wandern und Radeln durch Mirabellen und Pflaumenhaine. Yeah, es war schön!!!

... a journey with pen on paper for the Grassi Museum for Ethnography in Leipzig - to create a series of museum guides for kids. The kids guides will be available from the middle of august. // ... eine Reise mit dem Stift auf dem Papier für das Grassi Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig - um eine Serie von Museumsführern für Kinder zu erstellen. Ab Mitte August sind sie dort erhältlich!
